Duties:
– Generate leads and identify potential customers for freight services
– Dispatch shipments and coordinate logistics operations
– Negotiate and manage contracts with carriers and suppliers
– Conduct carrier sales to secure transportation services
– Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of shipments and transactions
– Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and other relevant industry standards
– Utilize AS400 and EDI systems for order processing and tracking
– Determine pricing for freight services based on market rates and customer requirements
Qualifications:
– Previous experience in lead generation, dispatching, contract management, or transportation sales is preferred
– Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
– Familiarity with FDA regulations and industry standards for transportation of goods
– Proficiency in using AS400 and EDI systems for order processing
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
